Deep thought on acceptance. What's your take on it?

A Serious question for you <3
After hearing a few deep conversations this morning...which was not the usual way I start my shift.... but it was refreshing to hear others and their experiences this morning.....something thick is in the air.
I came to the epiphany that it's impossible for someone to understand another person's journey. To expect others to understand the pain, fear, loss, insecurity or rejection is impossible. Sure, there are people we can share our experiences with, but to except them to understand is impossible because they were not present in that moment. It seems like the only rational approach is to practice acceptance. If we can't understand, let's accept....right? Something I'm still work on.
At times, it can be challenging for me to justify or accept someone's deceit from the past..trusting...or in this case..not trusting... that the deceit will not recycle through in the present or future. This could be in regards to friendships, personal relationships and even with your parents.
I want to know:
How do you personally move forward?

"Blessed are they that mourn."—Matthew 5:4Crushing burdens and tragic losses can nearly overwhelm people at times. To show Christlike compassion, we should comfort those who mourn, helping to lift their heavy hearts.
WAYS YOU CAN COMFORT SOMEONE IN NEED

Do you know someone who’s recently lost a loved one?
Offer to provide comfort and a listening ear.

Do you have a friend who is out of work?
Help the person polish his or her résumé, and connect the person with others you know could use his or her skills.

How can you help someone who is in physical or emotional pain?
Nothing says “get well soon” like homemade soup, warm bread, and a good book.

"I was a stranger, and ye took me in."—Matthew 25:35We find it easy to serve and show kindness to people we already know and love. But we don’t fully follow the Savior’s example until we extend that same kindness to people we don’t know.
WAYS YOU CAN HELP A STRANGER

Which one of your coworkers do you know the least?
Invite the person to lunch to get to know him or her better.

Has a stranger ever done something nice for you?
Determine a way to pay the kind act forward.

"Search the scriptures."—John 5:39The scriptures contain the word of God, relayed to us through inspired servants. As we study the scriptures, we grow closer to God and gain a clearer vision of our purpose on earth.
WAYS YOU CAN USE THE SCRIPTURES TO LIFT UP OTHERS

Do you have a favorite scripture?
Share it with friends and family on social media.

Want to start the day off right with your family?
Make a commitment to read the scriptures together for 15 minutes every day this week. You’ll be surprised at the difference it makes.

Do you know someone who could benefit from a specific passage of scripture?
Text it to the person and explain why you thought of sharing it with him or her.
Challenge Completed:

During Sunday dinner we shared our favorite scripture stories. It was a wonderful way to learn which stories have inspired the kids.

"I was sick, and ye visited me."—Matthew 25:36Sickness and hard times affect us all eventually. We can help lift those who are suffering, even if all we do is devote a little time to visiting them.
WAYS YOU CAN COMFORT THE SICK

Did you know that there’s a shortage of donations of all blood types around the winter holidays?
Give blood at your local blood bank today.

Did you know that 60% of those in nursing homes will never have a visitor during their stay?
Go visit a resident to lift someone’s spirits today.

Could a family member or friend use some spiritual medicine?
Resolve to pray daily for your loved ones who need spiritual strength or healing.

"Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you."

—Matthew 5:44

We may not get along with everyone, but we shouldn’t be unkind to anyone. Jesus showed us the ultimate example of loving an enemy.

WAYS YOU CAN SHOW LOVE FOR EVERYONE

When was the last time you weren’t at your best?
Reach out to apologize to someone you may have hurt or offended.

Do you have a family member, classmate, or coworker who’s difficult to get along with?
Focus on being kind to the person for an entire week.

Is someone getting bullied at your school or work?
Stand up for your peer in front of a bully.
Challenge completed:
Today, I ask for forgiveness to all those I may have hurt, knowingly and unknowingly.

"Suffer the little children to come unto me."
—Mark 10:14

Jesus loved little children. We can each brighten the life of a child simply by taking the time to show that we care.
Challenge completed:

It is truly a blessing to be a mother. A mother that provides, a mother that can serve and a mother that can love children unconditionally. Tonight, we all sat around the dinner table reading scriptures and sharing ideas. These are the moments that bring me so much peace.

"Judge not, that ye be not judged."
—Matthew 7:1
Only Jesus lived a sinless life. We should show compassion when others make mistakes, and we trust that others will show us compassion when we have been less than perfect.
Challenge completed:

Today, I came across some people along my journey who I noticed enjoy gossiping. Instead of getting mad or giving into the gossip I shifted into my own peace. We all travel at different levels of awareness. We may never be able to understand why people choose to live the way they do.......and truthfully, it us none of our business to try to understand how someone else is living. All we can do is be the example and enjoy the beautiful journey what was given to us.

Jesus taught:
"Honour thy father and mother."
—Matthew 15:4

We shouldn’t wait for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day to express our love to our parents. We can show appreciation year-round by serving them and living the way they taught us to live.

How will you light the world?
 #LightTheWorld
Challenge completed:

I took time after work to call my parents today. Being taco Tuesday my mother was too busy for a chat. Let's just say she love to celebrate life and will use any excuse to do so. And that OK!  I didn't get to talk to my dad somehow the call wouldn't go through. I'll try again in the morning.

Dean was so happy to give Zack and I a hug. Dean has a heart full of gold (compassion, forgiveness and unconditional love).  Belle had two hours of gymnastics but also expressed affection and gratitude.

Not being able to reach my parents is nothing new. I then realized that perhaps this challenge was not just to honor our earthly parents but our heavenly parents as well. I then prayed and thanked my heavenly parents for their guidance, support and unconditional love.
