Today was my 1st full day participating the art of detachment. My routine was no different except that my first words began with "I love you" to my two kiddos. We juiced and headed to the gym. Once again at the gym, I felt the need to meditate after my work out, which I did.
I came home to a wonderful response about the blog I posted yesterday. Thank you all for your support and advice. One new friend suggest I visit Dr. Diane & Loren Mickelson website http://drsmick.com to learn about the Gold light exercise in order to create energetic boundaries. It was pretty amazing. I did it this afternoon and it gave me a boost of energy.
Detachment lesson number one:
Sundays, I usually like to indulge in a sweet treat. Part of embracing the art of detachment, I want to detach myself from the little pleasures I indulge in. Especially when it's treats that are not healthy for me. Why do I reward myself with something bad for my body? That doesn't make sense, right? If I am going to reward myself it should be nourishing to my physical body and divine being.
As the day ends, I tuck the kids into bed, my last words for the day are " I love you" and now my moment of silence and reflection begins.
