On day 6 of the art of detachment. I began the day with saying "I love you" to my kiddos.
On this day I was compelled to explore the love I have for myself. As a mother of two, student and employee it's hard to find the time to love thy self.
Truly loving our divine being oppose to our physical appearance should be natural. Yet, for some finding this "self love" is an on going battle. Why is that?
Some would say we have become a society driven by ego, accepting only what we see. If we can see it, then it's so. Are we the extra weight? The scar? The acne? The loss extremity? No, yet we have these "imperfections" to remind us that we are all different. This common thread of "imperfections" is to remind us that we are all one.
Detachment lesson number six:
Detach from the idea of imperfections and know that you are perfect just the way you are. Allow yourself to become submerge in the light of love. You deserve to have this love for yourself.
Im + perfection= Imperfection Yes, you are perfection.
Say it out loud, "I am perfection, no physical limitation or flaw will compromise the love I have for myself, I am perfection." and repeat.
Day 5 of the Oprah & Chopra meditation the centering thought is " I am perfect, divine creation" How wonderful is that! We are a perfect divine creations. Say it! Believe it! Breath it! Be it!
If you have never participated in a mediation challenge I would highly recommend it. https://chopracentermeditation.com/home
My last words of the night were "I love you" followed by silence and reflection.
